Valentine’s Day Treats for the Animals at Woodland Park Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo will celebrate Valentine’s Day by feeding the animals special treats like heart-shaped ice pops made of fruit juice, honey, strawberries and cranberries, herbal bouquets and heart-shaped steaks. It’s all part of its animal care program, designed to “help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals, promote natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally stimulated and engage zoo visitors.”
