Whale Museum

62 1st Street, Friday Harbor, WA 98250, United States

(360) 378-4710

The Museum's Exhibit Hall & Gift Shop are open daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. from Memorial Day in May until early October. Thereafter, in the quiet season, hours are daily from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Our Museum is located in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. Much of the year, the endangered Southern Resident killer whales live and forage in the waters around this island. We strive to tell people as much as is known about these amazing whales, other marine creatures and the ecosystem in which they live. As people connect to these orcas, they become stewards — making this a healthier environment for all of us to live in!
