There’s no water that seems to matter right now in the hearts of people in the Northwest except the fate of the beautiful waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. This morning I heard a report from a fire marshal who had driven thru the gorge, and wanted everyone to know that the gorge was still beautiful and not a wasteland, and that firefighters worked through the night to protect the Multnomah Falls lodge. Our thoughts and prayers are still with all those displaced or affected by the Eagle Creek Fire, those fighting the fires and other wildfires across the Northwest, as well as the beautiful waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge.
