As part of National Small Business Week, I am going to throw a spotlight on a PNW small business every day this week.
In Oregon City, just a block from the foot of the historic Oregon City Outdoor Elevator and just off I-205, is a coffee shop all its own. The unique decor is unlike the trendy wood/metal/glass minamalist naturalist style coffee shop prevalent nowadays. This coffee shop is a combination of the 60s, the 70s, the 80s, and even a dash of the 30s thrown in. The laid back vibe of the 60s, the clutter of the 70s, and the colors of the 80s are all together in a coffee shop that is also a gift store and also a book store. Identity crisis? No, not really. It is just its own unique self. Oh, and by the way. They served me the best chai tea latte I’ve ever had.
