There is nothing like a good bbq sauce, and Buster’s does it right. I made a point to stop in at Buster’s in Tigard last week for lunch and love it. I’ve loved it for a long time. They do the whole western theme well – from the western decor that gives it a great vibe without being too kitschy, to really good bbq meats and sides. You order the meats, pick a side dish or two, and then ladle on any sauce you like from their 4 choices. Personally I mix up a half sweet/half mild bbq sauce, but you can go chipotle or hot if you prefer. They also have bottles for sale to take home for in-between visits.
In business since 1982, they cook their meats over a low smoke-filled wood fire. You can choose from beef brisket, ribs, pork loin, pulled pork, ham, sausage links, turkey breast, and chicken. The Tigard restaurant is right off of I-5 and easy to find.
