Cherry Blossom Day at the Capitol

Celebrate the beauty of the season and the friendship with Salem, Oregon’s Sister City Kawagoe, Japan, on the Oregon State capitol grounds. A free event with fun for all including:

• Japanese Tea Ceremony
• Bonsai Display and demonstrations
• Vintage Japanese toys and games exhibit
• Fish printing
• Origami and Japanese calligraphy demonstrations
• Pinwheels and Kabuto helmets display
• Tours of the capitol building

This event is RAIN OR SHINE. Many of the displays are inside the Capitol building. Hopefully mother nature will provide a beautiful display of the many cherry trees on the grounds!
