The Oregon International Air Show is a premier annual aviation event in Oregon, showcasing a diverse array of military and civilian aircraft through thrilling aerobatic performances and static displays. Established in 1988 as part of the Portland Rose Festival, it has grown into a significant attraction, drawing approximately 55,000 spectators each year. he air show features renowned teams such as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, offering attendees an exhilarating experience. Beyond entertainment, the event supports local charities, having donated over $3.3 million to more than 500 organizations since its inception.
The Oregon International Air Show is a fun day for the whole family, with exciting aerial maneuvers, rare vintage planes, and a grand finale called Kaboom! featuring a high-energy, breathtaking display of aerobatic performances, fireworks, and drones all choreographed with a carefully curated music soundtrack.
