Sherwood Robin Hood Festival

Close to 20,000 people attend the Sherwood Robin Hood Festival the 3rd weekend of July each year. The event is free to the public. It features Medieval re-enactments, music & entertainment on two stages, a knighting ceremony, a kids and family area, an international archery contest between Nottinghamshire UK and Sherwood Oregon, a castle building contest, a teen dance, a flower contest, a beer & wine garden, food and crafts vendors and much more! The Robin Hood Festival Association also produces a Winter Festival the first Saturday of every December.
