Sisters Rodeo

June 11 - June 15

The Sisters Rodeo, known as “The Biggest Little Show in the World,” is a beloved annual event that brings big-time rodeo action to the small town of Sisters, Oregon. Since 1940, this early June tradition has drawn top professional rodeo athletes from across the country to compete in thrilling events like bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and barrel racing. The rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and offers serious prize money—making it a key stop on the rodeo circuit. A fan favorite is the wild and unpredictable team bronc riding, a nod to the rodeo’s early days that’s rarely seen elsewhere. The energy in the arena is electric, with enthusiastic crowds, expert announcers, and top-notch stock keeping the action nonstop.

But the excitement isn’t limited to the rodeo grounds. The weekend kicks off with the Cascade Chute Out, a high-intensity bull riding competition featuring PRCA Xtreme Bulls riders. On Saturday morning, the Sisters Rodeo Parade brings a festive flair to downtown, with floats, horses, marching bands, and local pride on full display. Vendors, food trucks, and community events round out the celebration, making it a true small-town experience with a big heart. Whether you’re a seasoned rodeo fan or just looking for a fun weekend in Central Oregon, the Sisters Rodeo offers an unforgettable mix of tradition, talent, and community spirit.
