This photo, titled “Crossing Over” by photographer James Ronan captured this Oregon covered bridge just at the moment a car was crossing inside, illuminating the interior. Such a fantastic shot bringing this old-time covered bridge to life. Located just off I-5 north of Grants Pass, the Grave Creek Covered Bridge was built in 1920 and is the last remaining covered bridge in Josephine County. Further North along I-5, the number of covered bridges increase and are plentiful around the southern Willamette Valley. There are several loops you can drive or bicycle to see several in one trip.
