Spring Flower Celebrations

Published by Dawn On December 27, 2019

After a few months of gray skies, there is nothing more beautiful than the arrival of the first spring flowers. That spark of color lightens our outlook, lifts our spirits, and renews our belief that there is always something good ahead. In the Pacific Northwest, we greet the passing winter with orchards full of fruit trees in bloom, vineyards springing to life in fields of green, and most colorful of all, acres and acres of beautiful flowers creating a rainbow here on earth.

As the season progresses, you can celebrate new flowers emerging with festivals all over the Northwest. Whether you choose to go on a driving tour through the orchards, or want to immerse your nose up close to a lilac, you can find your favorite flower and celebrate Spring!

Springtime is the land awakening, March winds are the morning yawn.
