Where to Find Northwest Travel Deals

Published by KC Dermody On March 31, 2017

If you’re planning your trip to the Northwest, it can take a ton of searching just to find the best websites to help you put together an itinerary, let alone discovering good travel deals. That’s why we’ve put this list together that will save you time, and possibly some of your hard-earned cash too.

Travel Oregon: If you plan to visit Oregon, Travel Oregon should be one of your first stops. Not only does it list some of the latest travel deals, on things like kayak tours, boat rentals and accommodations, but you’ll get lots of great ideas on what to see and do.

Northwest Waterfall

If you plan to spend time in the city, don’t miss TravelPortland.com which will tell you what’s happening now, what events are coming in the future, and reveal some of the best places to visit while you’re there.

Going to the eastern side of the Cascades? VisitBend.com is where you should go for deals and discounts, an event calendar, trip ideas and more.

Sunriver Resort, Bend, Oregon

Both Living Social and Groupon offer special deals and discounts for Portland, Oregon and throughout the Pacific Northwest. For local deals,  AmazonLocal, can save you up to 75% on restaurants, spas and many more entertainment options. By downloading the AmazonLocal’s iPhone app, you can shop for deals on the go.

Looking for an affordable weekend getaway? LivingSocial Escapes offers hand-picked travel packages at discounted rates. You’ll find everything from a weekend camping in Olympic National Park (including all camping gear), meals, a guide and more, to luxury weekends in the city at upscale hotels.

If your plan includes Seattle, be sure to hit Visit Seattle which boasts an extensive list of things to do, from family fun to arts and culture, shopping, outdoors and special events, as well as the best places to dine and where to stay. The website’s new addition, VisitSeattle.tv video studio is creating music news videos that promote local bands, who perform at eclectic venues around town to drive exposure to underserved local neighborhoods – if you’re into music, don’t miss it.

ExperienceWa.com offers information on visiting areas through the Evergreen State, and includes maps, an event calendar, deals, restaurants, lodging and more.

VisitIdaho.org is your website for Idaho travel, with trip guides, things to do, places to stay and more. You’ll find specials and packages, things to do, maps and guides, mountain passes and more for your trip to Sun Valley at sunvalley.com as well as visitsunvalley.com

For Southern Idaho, check out visitsouthidaho.com, and for Boise, boise.org is your best bet, where you’ll find a visitor guide and more.
