Our photo of the week: A quick summer getaway to Cannon Beach is always a pleasure. The iconic Haystack rock, wide sandy beaches, tide pools, fun shops, and great restaurants are always fun to explore. Summer weather can be overcast, but often the clouds just hang off shore, leaving blue skies most of the afternoon. Haystack rock is the largest of several interesting rock formations you’ll see. Have a tide chart handy to see when the water recedes enough to explore the tide pools at its base.
