Carpenter Creek Farm & Winery
Situated at the foothills of the coast range west of Forest Grove, Oregon, Carpenter Creek feels a world away from Portland, yet is just a little over half an hour away. As you head out the Sunset Highway towards the coast, a scenic drive takes you through winding roads of nurseries, old homesteads, and through the little college town of Forest Grove. Views of snow capped mountains play hide and seek behind the hills as the sound of irrigation spray pumps become more frequent than city noise. Down a quiet lane you’ll find Carpenter Creek Winery in a lovely red barn with vineyards that come right up to the edge of the lawn. Inside is a wide open space with rustic country touches, hanging flower baskets, and possibly even some live music. Frequently hosting weddings, the winery is ready for you to come and enjoy a wine tasting. If you love flowers, don’t miss a stop at Blooming Junction, a beautiful, large garden center on the way there!
