Estacada, Oregon
In this surprising little town east of Oregon City (Pronounced ess tuh KAY duh) I stumbled upon fantastic wall murals of all kinds. Scenes of the past, scenes of the future, scenes depicting a deep love of nature, as well as scenes of daily life. The downtown area only fills about 4 square blocks, but has a lot of personality for its size. Stop by and wander the streets and see how many murals you can find. Take a selfie and immerse yourself into one of your favorites. The artwork alone is worth stopping for and admiring.
Highway 211 is a nice scenic drive that connects Woodburn through Molalla and Estacada and brings you out north of Oregon City. When you are in the mood to get off the freeway and take some back roads, this is a great option!
