An historic home with stunning gardens that combines old world elegance with a plant collector’s love of nature.  Containing both formal gardens with boxwood topiary, gazebo, and an elegant quatrefoil swimming pool and a woodland path past ancient rhododendrons, towering coastal redwood, and native plantings all set on a beautiful small lake.  Located in Lakewood, just south of Tacoma. A visitor’s gift shop offers not only wonderful gifts, but plants for sale as well.
