A summer drive to the north side of Mt. Adams with Lake Takhlakh shining in the sun. A nice drive is up the Cowlitz river on Highway 12 south of Chehalis and turn onto Gifford Pinchot Forest Road 23 at Randall, which takes you to Trout Lake and White Salmon and back to the Columbia River. you’ll have stunning views of Mt. Adams along the way!
