A perfect match – vintage car and Vista House. Vista House is the iconic image of the Columbia River Gorge, sitting atop Crown Point overlooking the Columbia river below. Construction began in 1916 and was the crown jewel of the newly finished Columbia River Highway. Built as a safe place for visitors to stop and take in the view, the viewpoint has enthralled visitors and photographers for over a hundred years. Photo credit: San S. Saechao, a local photographer.
