In September, the grapes are ready for harvesting in the Willamette Valley. In late October, the vines will begin turning lovely shades of gold and orange – creating rolling hillsides lined with golden stripes. A drive through the hills of the Willamette Valley – especially on the west side of I-5, makes for a scenic, pleasurable drive in Autumn and you’ll be tempted to stop at a winery or two along the way!
