We enjoyed a nice lunch at Amaro’s Table in downtown Vancouver today. At the corner of 12th and Main St., it’s an easy walk from Kiggins Theater, Esther Short Park, or Magenta Theater. The inviting ambience with tall glass windows and Brazilian/Cuban music playing nicely in the background, made for an enjoyable lunch. From its modern American menu, we chose Tuscan bean soup, an antipasto platter with roasted vegetables, a grilled chicken sandwich, and ricotta donuts for dessert. We enjoyed them all – the roasted veggies on the antipasto platter being the surprise favorite! Next time we’ll have to hit happy hour…
