The Blue Angels are now in Seattle, roaring in on Monday in preparation for their performance at Seafair this weekend.
This is the highlight of Seafair Weekend, hosted August 5th and 6th, along with the unlimited hydroplane races. The spectacular show also means that the I-90 bridge will be subject to closures off and on as the FAA requires a safety zone around and below the area where the Blue Angels practice and perform, so be sure to plan ahead if a crossing is in your plans.
Despite the inconvenience, this is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, so be sure to get and experience it. Genesee Park on Lake Washington is one of the very best spots for catching the aerobatic performers in the sky, the boats on the water, and live music and delicious food on land.
