Every Wednesday, Best of the Northwest spotlights a different winery on our Instagram page for #WineryWednesday. This week’s spotlight was on Bonair Winery in Zillah, WA in the Yakima Valley wine region. The Yakima Valley enjoys a perfect climate for growing grapes with its long, sunny summers, predictable rainfall, and hilly terrain. The same holds true for those who enjoy getting out wine tasting. Beautiful vistas, fine wines, and sunny days are hallmarks of Bonair Winery.
Bonair is an estate winery, meaning it is not just a storefront, but the tasting room is actually on the grounds of the vineyard itself. Your view overlooks the very grapevines that created the delicious wines you will be drinking.
While lovely in the summer, the vineyard is just as beautiful in the Autumn, when the vines show off their fall colors and makes for a wonderful time to visit.
The tasting room is welcoming, and there is plenty of seating outside for your to enjoy the views.
