Festival Chorale of Oregon Presents the Queen Symphony

The well-respected Chorale has been performing choral masterworks in Oregon since 1979. This year they present a special event along with the Salem Symphonic Winds: The Queen Symphony by Tolga Kashif. The word is comprised of six movements based on a dozen well-known melodies from the rock band Queen. In 1974, Freddie Mercury said that he would “like people to put their own interpretation” on his own songs and Tolga Kashif did just that. If you loved the movie, or have always loved Queen, this unique performance may hit just the right notes for you.
