Port Townsend Rhododendron Festival

Dating from 1935, the Rhododendron Festival celebrates the Washington State flower with a weekend full of family fun. Events include a Grand Parade, the Rhody Run, golf tournament, the Running of the Balls (a golf ball race down Monroe Street,) community picnic, spaghetti feed, and more.
The Trike Race is May 18 and the Pet Parade is May 19. The Kiddies Parade and Bed Races/Beard Contest are May 20 with the Grand Parade on Saturday, May 21 and the Rhody Run on Sunday, May 22.
