Sequim Sunshine Festival

The Sunshine Festival will bring relief from the winter blues with activities that focus on light, fun, art, physical activity, and positive energy for all ages.
The Sunshine festival focuses on one of Sequim’s best-known features – Sunshine! In a typically wet western Washington, Sequim has an annual rainfall of just 16 inches. It might not always be sunny in Sequim, but the odds are better than anywhere else in the region. And if the sun doesn’t shine, no worries. We’ll help you make your own sun.
We are planning a variety of events for the first Sequim Sunshine Festival including a fun ‘color run’, bicycle ride, scavenger hunt, volleyball, badminton, a beach party with catered dinner and dancing, amazing illuminated drone show, restaurant romp throughout downtown Sequim coinciding with the regularly scheduled First Friday Art Walk, interactive art exhibits, sip-n-paint, and plenty of great music throughout the weekend. Enjoy Sequim’s small-town charm as you look to the warmth and sun of the upcoming spring and summer seasons.
