While we don’t actually get many hurricanes here in the Pacific Northwest, Hurricane Ridge can get a bit windy! But on a calm summer’s day, there are few places with such a spectacular view. Located on the northern edge of the Olympic National Forest just south of Port Townsend, the Hurricane Ridge Visitor’s Center is a popular stop for good reason. There are several good hiking trails, great photo ops, and a helpful visitor center. You will be treated to views that stretch for miles and miles, and the trip there is half the fun!
