La Bottega is a favorite stop of mine when in downtown Vancouver. I would describe it as casually elegant. They pay attention to ambience as well as quality foods and drinks. Walls lined with wines, cases of Italian deli staples, specialty grocery items, and a bit of an old world feel, all combine to be a great spot for lunch or dinner. I love their mushroom ravioli! When weather permits, they open up their front windows to allow some outdoor seating. Well worth a visit!
