Dunn Gardens

https://dunngardens.org

A historic botanical garden designed by the Olmsted brothers in 1915. True to the Olmsteds’ design philosophy, the master plan retained and enhanced many of the site’s natural features including the western slope’s panoramic views, a ravine, and large stands of second-growth Douglas firs. The house was sited to take in the sound and mountain views, while a tennis court, vegetable garden, and garage building were located to the east. While the home doesn’t exist there anymore, the beautiful gardens remain and are maintained by a trust.
