The Northwest is the best place to vacation. We know, because we stay-cation here all the time! But it’s also fun to share our Northwest bounty of food, wine, craft beer, and great natural beauty with visitors from around the world.
Many visitors come here to cruise! There are small ships cruising in Alaska, the San Juan Islands and Puget Sound, and the Columbia and Snake Rivers. USA River Cruises has always been located in the Pacific Northwest, and we love being able to sell cruises that are in our backyard. #WednesdayOnTheWater
American Song
American Cruise Lines has operated two beautiful paddlewheelers on the Columbia and Snake Rivers for a few years now: the Queen of the West and the American Pride. Now, the cruise line is offering a new, modern style of riverboat: the American Song! The riverboat will have triple the glass of other riverboats, offering you the best views of the river. There is also a 4-story glass-enclosed Atrium, with a large domed skylight. The Song also has a new Grand Suite category, with 900 sq ft, glass walls and wraparound private balcony – you can enjoy stunning views from your own suite! The American Song will be on the Columbia River beginning March 2019.
Pacific Provider
Small yachts are becoming more common these days, and make a great alternative for vacationers who want to cruise with a small group of friends or family, or who just prefer smaller groups. We’ve found a brand new 12-passenger adventure yacht in Alaska: the Pacific Provider! They’re cruising the Prince William Sound, which is a different region of Alaska than our other cruise ships. Another great distinction that separates the Pacific Provider from our other Alaska cruises: you can fish! They have all the gear, and four tenders that are always available to take you out.
American Constellation
Also from the American Cruise Line fleet, the American Constellation began cruising the San Juan Islands and Alaska this year. The Constellation‘s inaugural season in Alaska will continue thru September 2018 (staterooms still available!) before returning to the Puget Sound for the fall season.
You can find all of our cruises on our website: Alaska, Puget Sound, and Columbia River!
