Mother Nature is just so abundant in terms of what she has to offer locals and tourists alike. This time of year, we enjoy the drama of the scenery across the Northwest – that’s why we have a new Northwest travel guides, the Most Scenic Outlooks in the Northwest. Highlighted in our scenic viewpoints is the Washington Pass Overlook on the North Cascades Scenic Highway.
One thing to note, if you aren’t familiar with the area – mountain passes can be closed during the winter due to snow. Some routes might not close but be “chains only” – and these restrictions are enforced. So, when planning winter trips throughout the Northwest, please make sure to plan ahead.
