Is there a better time to visit the Oregon Coast than December? Depends on what you’re looking for. I went in search of beautiful waves and smaller crowds, so it was the perfect weekend. The end of the year is famous for whale watching, as well. Pods of whales are migrating south, so take your binoculars (and a heavy coat) to watch them journey past.
