Leavenworth, WA really celebrates all that winter offers with its annual Bavarian Ice Fest, held every year on MLK Jr. holiday weekend. Everything snow will be celebrated with snowball toss, ice carving, snow shoe demonstrations, snow sculptures, and more. The Bavarian styled village in the Cascade Mountains is a wonderful winter destination.
