One of the 10 small islands that are part of the San Juan Islands off the Washington state coast, Sucia Island is only about 1 square mile. With only 4 people claiming residency there, the island is more known for the Sucia Island State Park, which is a Washington State Marine Park. Accessible only by boat, the island is a beautiful place to visit, photograph, and observe wildlife.
