A surprising find in more ways than one
Walking around the old buildings on the Historic National Fort Vancouver site on the edge of downtown Vancouver, Washington, you find beautifully preserved buildings, many dating to the mid 1800s. While walking among the old buildings of this old military fort, you might not expect to find a two foot long crystal on display. While there are some interesting tools nearby, nothing quite like what used to be used inside this old Dental Surgeon’s Office. The office now is home to Exquisite Crystals, a retail gallery showcasing stunning crystals from all over the world. Exquisite Crystals had been an on-line only business for almost twenty years, until they added this lovely little showroom gallery two years ago so that everyone can appreciate these natural wonders up close and in person. They have beautiful displays of crystals, quartz, citrine, geodes, petrified wood, all in natural, shaped, or tumbled looks. Larger slices of geodes have been used to create one-of-a-kind end tables that would look amazing in any home. They offer smaller pieces for pendants, bracelets and have an extensive inventory.
While visiting the fort’s historic site, don’t miss visiting the Dental Surgeon’s office right across from the old hospital and visit Exquisite Crystals!
